We're thrilled to announce the launch of Bilkent Online! This innovative platform, recognized as the top project in CS319 and has also garnered support from Microsoft Founders Hub, was developed to empower the Bilkent community. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Eray Tüzün for his invaluable guidance throughout this journey. His mentorship was instrumental in our success. Special thanks to Yavuz Alp Sencer ÖZTÜRK for his exceptional leadership. He played a pivotal role in the project's success. Collaborating with the entire team – Alpsencer Özdemir, Yavuz Alp Sencer ÖZTÜRK, Yiğit Küçük, and Sertaç Derya – has been an incredibly rewarding experience. We’re excited to announce that Bilkent Online, an all-in-one platform for the Bilkent community, is now live! Selected as the best project in the CS 319 course, it recently also gained support from Microsoft. Amazing work by our team 🚀 Thank you for Dr. Eray Tüzün from Bilkent University CS Department for his guidance. Being on the same team with Alpsencer Özdemir, Yusuf Kesmen, Sertaç Derya, Yiğit Küçük, was an incredible experience. Thank you all. Thank you Hasan Kutluhan Şıpka, Kaan Aydeniz, Yavuz Selim Sarıbaş for your help. Without you all, we couldn’t have achieved this level of success. Also, thank you to our CS Department Chair Selim Aksoy for his support. Bilkent Online is a comprehensive platform helping the university community including students, professors, staff and more. I am the project manager and a full-stack developer, working on many parts of the project, including real-time messaging, the AI chatbot, and deployment. We are excited to announce a significant collaboration between kAi Sabanci and Bilkent Yapay Zeka Topluluğu (AI Society). In this collaboration, the kAI Bilkent subbranch of our society will work closely with kAi Sabanci and NVIDIA to offer an exceptional educational opportunity for all our members. We would like to extend our gratitude to Serhan YILMAZ, President of Sabancı kAI, for his invaluable support and contribution to making this collaboration a reality. Our first joint endeavor will be an NVIDIA-certified online live workshop titled "Fundamentals of Deep Learning." This workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the core concepts and techniques of deep learning, a field that is at the forefront of artificial intelligence research and application. We believe that this collaboration will greatly enhance the learning experience for our members, providing them with access to high-quality, industry-recognized training and more. MAIN GPT Türkçe Büyük Dil Modeli projesi ekibiyle tanışmak için HAVELSAN merkezini ziyaret ettik. İlgimizi kırmayarak bizleri konuk eden Dr. Berkan Demirel başta olmak üzere yine onunla birlikte sorularımızı tek tek yanıtlayan Alper Karamanlıoğlu'na ve ekiplerine değerli zamanlarını ayırdıkları için minnettarız. Bilkent AI Society has been officially accepted into the NVIDIA Student Network! This marks a great milestone as we continue our journey into the world of AI and technology. The NVIDIA Student Network is an exceptional community engagement program that provides practical AI skills through exclusive training, tools, and hands-on projects. The program caters to all skill levels, including data science, computer vision, natural language processing, and speech AI, ensuring everyone gets valuable, real-world experience. As part of this network, our society members will have access to a wealth of resources and opportunities to connect with students globally through their Discord community.
